Lulie Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Bünyamin Mete, Istanbul, Türkiye ("we", "us"), for the Lulie iOS app (the "app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). If these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA prevails with respect to the licence to use the app; these Terms prevail for everything else.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including face data.

2. The app

Lulie is a face yoga and facial exercise routine. It offers guided movements, reminders, an on-device photo measurement, and optional AI features (a face reading, weekly comparisons and an AI-generated projection image). Some features need your consent and camera access; you can use the app without them.

3. Who can use the app

  • You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
  • AI face reading and the projection are available only to users who are 18 or older.
  • You may use the camera features only with your own face. Do not take or upload photos of other people, and never of children.

4. Not medical advice

The app is for general wellness and relaxation. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Measurements, AI readings, weekly comparisons and projections are estimates, not medical findings.

Talk to a doctor before starting if you have a condition affecting your face, jaw or neck (for example, jaw joint pain, a nerve condition affecting the face, an active skin condition, or recent facial surgery, injections or dental work). Stop any movement that causes pain, numbness or dizziness. Use the app at your own discretion.

5. AI features and results

  • AI outputs are produced automatically and may be inaccurate. The projection is an AI-generated image based on your photo and is labelled "An estimate, not a promise".
  • We do not guarantee any particular result, change or timeframe. Results differ from person to person and depend on many factors, including how regularly you practise.
  • AI features depend on third-party providers and may be limited (for example, a daily capacity limit) or temporarily unavailable. When that happens, the on-device features keep working.

6. Subscriptions and payments

6.1 Membership

Access to the app's program requires a paid membership. There is no free tier and no free trial. Current options (prices shown in the app in your local currency, including any applicable taxes):

The price, period and any introductory offer are shown on the purchase screen and on Apple's payment sheet before you confirm.

6.2 Auto-renewal

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your membership automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your membership at any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions) or from the app (Settings > Membership > Manage Membership). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Deleting the app or your data does not cancel your membership.

6.3 Introductory offer

The discounted introductory price (first week) is available once per Apple Account per subscription group, only to eligible users, and only on the weekly plan. After the introductory week, the membership renews at the weekly price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the introductory week ends.

6.4 Changing plans

You can switch from weekly to annual in the app; Apple applies the change immediately and refunds the unused part of the weekly period proportionally. Switching from annual to weekly takes effect at the next renewal.

6.5 Price changes

If we change the price of a membership, Apple will notify you in advance as required by Apple's rules and applicable law. Where required, a price increase will not apply to you unless you agree to it.

6.6 Special offers

We may offer discounted prices (for example, when you cancel or after your membership expires). Offers are optional, shown with their full price and period, and subject to Apple's rules. Where we show a reference price for a discount in the EU, it is the lowest price in the previous 30 days.

6.7 Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support). We cannot issue refunds directly. This does not affect any withdrawal or refund rights you have under the law of your country. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK: by starting a subscription you ask us to provide the digital service immediately, and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once the service has begun, to the extent the law allows. Refunds are handled by Apple.

6.8 Restoring purchases

If you change or reinstall your phone, use "Restore Purchases" in the app with the same Apple Account. Linking an optional Apple account in the app also lets your membership follow you.

7. Guest use and accounts

You can use the app as a guest. Linking an Apple (or Google, where offered) account is optional and helps you keep your membership and program when you change phones. We do not collect your name or email. You can unlink or delete your account in the app at any time (Settings > Account). You are responsible for keeping your Apple Account secure.

8. Your photos and content

  • Your photos and the projection image belong to you. We claim no ownership.
  • You give us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to process your photos only to provide the app's features to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when you delete the photos or your data.
  • We do not use your photos in our marketing or advertising. Any such use would require a separate, explicit permission that you can withdraw at any time.
  • If you share a projection card or other content from the app, you are responsible for what you share and with whom. Shared cards carry an "AI" label; do not remove it or present the projection as a real photo.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the app with another person's face, or with a child's face;
  • use the app or its outputs to identify, profile or harass anyone;
  • copy, modify, reverse engineer or extract the app's code, content, movement videos or AI prompts, except as permitted by law;
  • interfere with or bypass the app's security, usage limits or payment system, or access our servers other than through the app;
  • use the app for any unlawful purpose or in breach of Apple's terms.

We may suspend AI features or access for misuse.

10. Our content and intellectual property

The app, including its movements, videos, audio, text, design and brand, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms and the Apple EULA, we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control for non-commercial purposes.

11. Third-party services

The app relies on services from Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, PostHog, AI providers and (where offered) Google. Their terms may also apply to you. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

12. Availability and changes to the app

We may update, change or discontinue features. If we remove a core part of the paid membership, we will give reasonable notice where possible. If the app is discontinued, you can stop renewals through Apple at any time.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that it will produce any specific result. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the membership in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your data in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms. Termination does not cancel an Apple subscription automatically; cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will show the new date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. If you keep using the app after the change takes effect, the updated Terms apply. If you do not agree, cancel your membership and stop using the app.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims in the courts (or consumer arbitration bodies) of your country. Consumers in Turkey may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees (Tüketici Hakem Heyetleri) or Consumer Courts within the monetary limits set each year.
